FOR FLEET & DELIVERY OPERATORS
Fleet maintenance software for trucks, vans and delivery fleets
Pay for locations. Managers and contractors are free.
A driver flags a bad brake light on a paper checklist that sits in the cab until someone finds it. With Concoct, the driver runs the pre-trip inspection from their phone, a failed item opens a work order on the spot, and the vehicle is marked out of service until it's cleared.

IF ANY OF THIS IS YOUR WEEK
A pre-trip inspection on paper is one you can't see until it's too late.
- A driver notes a defect on a paper checklist, and nobody in the office sees it until the vehicle is already back out on the road.
- Registration, insurance or an inspection sticker expires before anyone remembers to renew it.
- Preventive maintenance is scheduled by date, so a vehicle that racks up miles fast never gets serviced on time.
- You can't tell which truck or van keeps coming back with the same fault, or what it's costing you.
Illustrative situations, not customer stories.

MAINTENANCE BASICS
Fleet maintenance: inspections and preventive maintenance that actually fires
Most fleet downtime traces back to a defect that was caught but never acted on, or a preventive maintenance interval that was never tracked past the odometer reading on the dash. Your jurisdiction's commercial-vehicle inspection rules and the manufacturer's service manual set the real intervals; these are common starting points around them.
A starting preventive maintenance schedule
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Every trip, before and after, covering brakes, tires, lights and the trailer if one is attached.
- Preventive maintenance
- By odometer or engine hours against the manufacturer's schedule, not just a calendar date.
- Registration and insurance
- Renew before the expiry date on file for each vehicle; a lapsed renewal takes a vehicle off the road.
- Commercial vehicle inspection
- On the interval your provincial or federal regulator sets for the vehicle class.
- Brakes and tires
- Checked on every pre-trip; a full inspection on the manufacturer's interval or sooner by wear.
General guidance, not a substitute for your manufacturer's manual, local codes or a qualified contractor.
Common emergency: a driver flags a vehicle out of service mid-route
The dispatcher needs to know immediately, not when the driver gets back. The shop needs the vehicle, the defect and whether it's safe to finish the trip.
How the job flows in Concoct
In Concoct the driver submits the pre-trip inspection from the driver app before pulling out. Any failed item opens a work order automatically and the vehicle is flagged out of service until the defect is cleared. The odometer reading on that same inspection also feeds your preventive maintenance schedule, so service intervals fire on actual usage.
HOW IT WORKS
One list. Every location. Every contractor.
A problem comes up
Whoever spots it logs a work order from their phone, with a photo. Add as many of your people as you like.
You send it to a contractor
Pick one of your vendors. They get a link by email or text.
The contractor opens the link
No account, no password. They see the job and update it.
You see it in one place
Open, in progress, done, by location. The invoice stays on the job.

Start on StarterQUESTIONS
What people ask first
Can drivers do pre-trip and post-trip inspections from their phone?
Yes, through a dedicated driver app. A failed checklist item opens a work order automatically, and trailers are covered as a second checklist when one is attached.
What about GPS tracking, driver behavior monitoring or EV charging?
Those are rolling out. Today Concoct covers pre-trip and post-trip inspections, preventive maintenance by odometer or engine hours, and compliance reminders for registration, insurance and inspections, for every vehicle in your fleet.
How does pricing work for a fleet with few locations but many vehicles?
Concoct is priced per location, with vehicles as an add-on: from C$7 per vehicle per month, falling at higher volumes. A single-yard fleet of any size pays for one location plus its vehicles.
Do my contractors need to sign up?
No. They open a link from the work order. No account, no password.
Do I need my own technicians?
No. Starter is built for operators who use outside contractors. If you employ technicians, Growth adds a roster, mobile app, checklists and inventory.
Can Concoct send someone out in an emergency?
Concoct is software. It tracks the repair and gets the job to your contractor. It does not provide crews or guarantee response times.
Why should I trust a young company?
You shouldn't have to take our word for it. The price is public, the vendor link is testable, and the demo runs on your own locations.
